Meet the San Francisco Team Behind Alden Insulation San Francisco
We’re a small crew, and that’s the point. When you call Alden Insulation San Francisco, you talk to a person who knows our schedule, our trucks, and the attics in this city. Fog, salt air, Victorian framing, 1950s Sunset District bungalows with zero ventilation. Every house fights its own battle against moisture and heat loss, and our job is to know which battle you’re in before we ring the bell. The names below are the people who show up, and the standard they work to is one thing we never leave to interpretation.
Our People
Marcus T., Lead Technician
Marcus has been pulling insulation in Bay Area attics for 14 years, and the last five of those have been with us. He holds a BPI Building Analyst certification and handles our most detailed diagnostics using blower door testing to pinpoint exactly where air escapes. Most of his calls are in older neighborhoods like Bernal Heights and Noe Valley, where knob-and-tube wiring and settling cellulose create problems newer homes never see. Off the clock, he rebuilds vintage motorcycles in a garage in the Outer Sunset. If he tells you your attic needs more than insulation, listen. He’s usually right.
Elena R., Senior Installer
Elena came to us from a commercial insulation contractor and brought a level of precision that changed how we run residential jobs. She specializes in blown-in fiberglass and dense-pack cellulose, and she’s the one we send when a homeowner wants to know exactly what R-value they’re getting and why. Elena works a lot in the Richmond District and Pacific Heights, where access hatches are tight and patience is not optional. She’s also our Spanish-speaking lead for Bay Area bilingual households, and she keeps a photo album on her phone of the worst attics she’s ever made right. It’s a great album.
Danny C., Service Coordinator
Danny is the voice you get when you call Alden Insulation San Francisco. He’s been coordinating service work for nine years, and before that he worked dispatch for a Bay Area HVAC company. That matters, because he understands building envelope issues from more than one angle. Danny schedules every visit around real time, confirms your window the day before, and makes sure the technician who arrives has the full history of your home’s insulation. He lives in the Excelsior with a rescue greyhound named Studs. You will hear Studs in the background occasionally. Danny will apologize. It’s fine.
Priya S., Apprentice Installer
Priya joined us two years ago through a Bay Area trades apprenticeship program and works daily with Marcus and Elena. She’s already passed her OSHA 10 and energy auditing coursework, and she handles a lot of our prep work in attics with limited access. Priya grew up in Daly City, which means she has strong opinions about fog and moisture control, and she’ll explain how proper insulation and ventilation work for a coastal climate. She’s the one constantly asking the trainers questions, which is exactly what we want. Good installers ask questions. Great ones keep asking after they already know the answer.
One Standard, Every Job
Every technician on this crew works under The Garrison Standard, set in 2002 when Garrison Partners built its first insulation operation. That standard is not a marketing slogan. It’s a written sequence for how we inspect, price, install, and follow up, and it applies identically to each independently owned and operated location. The Garrison Code means you get a written price before any tool comes off the truck, and a written 365-Day Done Right Promise on every single job. If our work fails within that year, we come back and fix it at no charge. No debate, no fine print. Bryce Holloway, the owner of this location, holds the team to that standard personally. It’s the only way he’ll run a crew, and the only way any of us would want him to.
